We are Renée Michot and Jim Rigsby. Since November 2013, we have produced a blog titled "Remembrance" on the Knoxville News Sentinel's website "GoSmokies," memorializing the Smoky Mountain cemeteries. Renée is the project photographer and Jim the project writer.
In addition to the Remembrance Project, since June 2014 we have lead the Senior Hiking Club for Fort Sanders Sevier Senior Center and Office on Aging in Sevierville, TN, providing guided hikes and instructional classes for this activities center.
We both live in Sevier County, Tennessee, for love of the mountains, and count among our blessing the easy access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park that this proximity affords.
